WAX WORK SITE vol.17-Toshinori TANUMA-
Waxwork Site focuses on "wax", which is attractive as an art material, and presents high-quality works in the field of contemporary art with the aim of pursuing and spreading its potential. This is a project for artists to participate. Please take this opportunity to take a look at the Toshinori TANUMA's new paintings, which he describes as "the sensation of creating a membrane of images (traces) from the secretions of the natural world."
ワックス・ワーク・サイトは美術素材として魅力のある「蝋(ロウ)」に焦点をあて、その可能性を追求し広めることを目的に、現代アートのフィールドで質の高い作品を発表しておられる作家の方々にご参加いただく企画です。「自然界の分泌物でイメージ(痕跡)の膜をつくる感覚」と表現する作家の新作絵画を、この機会に是非ご覧ください。ギャラリー砂翁/横島佳子
